Gossip
Ross Bonander, a career advisor, he regards office gossip as workplace violence. That may seem drastic, but it does have the ability to destroy lives, and it can do so in a variety of treacherous ways. To avoid gossip is easier said than done. Beware of the words that came out from others, ones that have the potential to harm someone, this actually included in criminal behavior.
Susan Adams, a professional leader, she said that gossip is actually good for offices. A journal of Applied Social Psychology that wrote by two professors at the University of Amsterdam has found that gossip helps identify employees who are shirking their responsibility, making the office a more efficient place. However, there are harms too. It will eventually spoil a person’s mood, and hurt them mentally and emotionally. Because of jealousy, some people just steal and copy their colleagues’ ideas. The one’s idea who stole by his or her colleagues of course will start to talk bad about him or her, back-stab him or her. There is where hatred come from, and leads to politics.
