To Climb Up the Corporate Ladder

(Gomez, n/a) It is not a good choice to switch work usually because it is not easy to find a good job for instance. So, people in an organization are trying their best to stay in the office or climb up to a higher position. Let us put it this way, when someone is thinking to climb up to the upper level, others are all his/her competitor. He/she may need to do something that can make their boss keeps an eye on them. If this happens in one office, office politics is easy to occur.

To be sure, the upper level you have climb, the higher salary you could gain. So why not people work hard to achieve a higher position in an organization? But hardworking is not enough as there are so many employers in an organization and you are the only one worker among them. Person who willing to bear slander or rumour may do something that make others feel not so good.

 For an example, Mr.A is desperate to get a higher position in office. Everyone see him follow the boss anytime and everywhere. He is always finding opportunity to introduce himself to the boss so that he could be the candidates when his boss needs to promote someone. His action definitely will bring a lot of bad news of him and make others stab back of him. But the fact is, who know that the person who besides you is not doing that such kind of thing?

Climbing to an upper position is the one issue that might lead to office politics. This is because jealousy inside colleagues is not easy to be seen and there is no trust between colleagues. Workers in an organization having no more cooperation between each other and productivity of an organization are being not effective. Everyone has doubt of each other that others may condemn you behind your back. Everyone has to show what they have done and prefer boss use their idea. To climb up the corporate ladder, everyone use all of their ways to convey the boss they are the best choice in the organization. Everyone play their politics behavior individually and finally the organization will fell into a bad situation as no one are willing to stay at their position that lower forever.
